We kicked off the evening on the seashore at Elmina Beach Hotel Resort with missionary friends and Ghanaian pizza.
President and Sister Shulz, from Hooper UT, will celebrate their 40th on 15 Dec.
Dr. and Sister Fife, from Montana, will celebrate their 26th on 22 November.
Elder and Sister Heid from San Diego, CA, work with the Perpetual Education Fund in the West Africa Area Office.
Frederick works with Elder and Sister Heid.
Elder and Sister Baker, from British Columbia Canada, are on a weekend of R&R from their mission in Nigeria. Her words of wisdom for the evening were "When you don't think you can go on - hang on to the pocket of the leader in front of you and put your feet in their footsteps - then don't look ahead only backwards to see how far you've come - before you know it you'll be there." It was comforting to Sister Shulz I think!
