Locks of Love

One of the things on my bucket list was to donate my hair.  Locks of Love is an organization that creates and provides real hair wigs to children who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment.  Asay has been astonished to see the amount of hair that has been falling out everyday since I've been in Africa and was worried that there wouldn't be any left to donate!

Sister Fife is not only the beautiful wife of our dear Doctor, but a talented hair artist as well.  So with the donation instructions in one hand and a picture of Lisa Rinner in the other she started hacking!

It is much cooler without it - I have to admit!

I will mail my pony tails to Florida on Monday.  Yikes, I wonder how much that will cost?

Now all the Elders stare at me - African's totally don't get white girl hair to begin with and have never heard of Locks of Love.  What shall I do next?  Either jump out of a plane or race a camel across the desert!

  1. Wow, you are doing service while you are doing service. You go! Can't wait to see pictures of you on a camel...
