Elder Asay gets down right giddy when a Facebook post, blog comment, e-mail, letter or package is received and has now created a "mail shrine" on two of the walls in our apartment. His decorating skills are remarkable...tee hee hee. All correspondence is read over and over and is VERY much appreciated so thank you everyone!
The children ages 3-11 from the Sherbrooke Ward sent us 6 pages of artwork and personal messages. It was so fun to look at their pictures and read their notes. Thank you kids - you are officially ON DISPLAY!
Then we got a package from the Clydes. Our grandsons drew us incredibly artistic abstract pieces and dictated letters to their mom - all of which are prominently displayed so we can look at them while at the dinner table. I loved the way she included the WAY they dictated the letter as well - I felt like we were there listening to them and watching them do it!
Heather also included photographs and GOODIES! I was craving raisens (you know...to go with all the RICE!) and wasn't able to find any here. Blake and Jenny's letters are also posted :) Thank you for your love and support!
I love blogs just because you feel so much closer to friends and family even if you are half way across the world from us! We enjoy every update and it makes Nate salivate even more to go to Africa. We are doing better from our wreck, it is just taking more time than we thought. Nate did get a new truck though if Lynn wants to see it, have him look on our blog. Keep up the good work.
